:: Oil Terminal Drobeta-Turnu Severin

The oil terminal is located on the left bank of the Danube river at the 940 river kilometer, at about 3.5 km downstream from the Hydropower and Navigation System (S.H.E.N.) Portile de Fier 1 and at about 5 km upstream from the city of Drobeta-Turnu Severin.

  The main activity of the oil terminal is the supply of gasoil, storage of gasoil in the three shore tanks and delivery of gasoil to river vessels and to road tankers.

 The oil terminal comprises the following sections:

          :: Intermediate oil tank with a built area of 2520 m2. It is composed of three vertical cylindric elevated tanks, each with a 19 m diameter, 11 m height and 3000 m3 capacity, placed in a retention tank of reinforced concrete, capable to retain 1/3 of the total capacity of the storage tank.
          :: The pump station for fuel, with a built area of 93 m2, equipped with 5 electric pumps of 100m3/h each.
          :: Railway platform for the unloading of petroleum products, with a built area of 1120m2, equipped with 12 unloading stations.
          :: Automotive platform for the loading of petroleum products, with a surface of 163m2, equipped with 2 loading stations and an electronic platform weighting machine for road trucks of 60t.
          :: River berth for loading / unloading and delivery of gasoil  to river vessels, equipped with 2 mooring pontoons.
